Matei has been advising clients as an investment banker and consultant and for 20+ years. He founded Sandfox in 2019 after a decade at Petsky Prunier (now Canaccord Genuity), AGC Partners, Jefferies, and J.P. Morgan. Earlier in his career, he was a fintech consultant at Deloitte and Provenir, with leading roles in both the U.S. and Europe. He has degrees from Cornell University and NYU’s Stern School of Business.
